I’m overly thrilled to invite you to explore my skills, work and professional experience, and get to know a bit more about me. I am a very hard worker that demonstrates very effective communication skills and works well in a fast pace environment. When the pressure is on I will get it done. I have been motivated since age 16 to work in the Journalism industry and I am determined to achieve that goal in the next few years.

SAMPLES OF MY WORK
I reported and published various political, cultural and local stories with ABC News and Columbia University. I edited and produced a short documentary on the legalization of marijuana affect on the Black community. I was chosen to shoot footage, interview, and edit a video for the Seton Hall Admissions department. Take a look!

Who I Am
As a Masters of Science journalism student at Columbia University and current Desk Assistant at ABC News I am confident that my academics and achievements as well as my leadership skills make me an ideal candidate for a job in the journalism industry. As indicated by my internship experience with the TODAY Show and CNBC, I have thorough understanding of journalism concepts. I am very hard working, up to date on all current news and a quick learner. I believe my ambition and drive to provide the community with the best news will be an asset to your company/business and I hope you will consider me for this opportunity.

CNBCÂ BREAKING NEWSÂ DESK INTERN
January 2017 -Â June 2017
Performed Man on the Street reports for CNBC regarding the DOW and Victoria Beckham's brand releasing at Target.
Wrote and edited stories for the nationally aired "News Now" segment.
Assisted with production, on air talent teams and guests for all shows on the NYSE.
Attended the releasing of the Samsung Galaxy to assist the camera man capturing the event live and taking notes for a CNBC report.
Participated in courtroom reporting and courthouse television coverage.

MEMBER OF PIRATE SPORTSÂ NETWORK
October 2016 - May 2017
PSN is a student ran network that broadcasts college sports games live. Basketball, soccer, and baseball are some of the major sports we cover. The positions I have worked on include side line reporter where I interview coaches and players before and after the game, camera, worked the score board, control board, and audio board.

MEMBER OF COMMUNICATIONS HONORS ALUMNI PROGRAM
January 2016-May 2017
I was selected as a participant in an exclusive mentorship program at Seton Hall University called CHAMP for 2 consecutive years! In this program I was paired with a high-level executive at a top organization in the communication industry. My mentors include Joe Michaels who was the director of the today show for 40+ years and my other mentor was Laurel Weir who is the SVP of Strategic Insights and Research at MTV. Being in this program I gained tips and advice about the television industry and how it works. I learned so much from my mentors personal stories and their challenges and obstacles. This program enhanced my knowledge on this industry and opened my eyes to the real world of TV.

At Seton Hall I took various television production courses from Writing for the Media, to Field Production, to Social Media in Journalism. Each of these courses have prompted me for the professional world and has given me a great amount of knowledge to use in the field.
